The All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) and the China Medical Women's Association (CMWA) jointly issued a letter on January 30 to female medical workers combating the novel coronavirus pneumonia (NCP) across the country in recognition and appreciation of their outstanding contributions to the NCP control efforts in the face of the ongoing epidemic.
The ACWF and the CMWA conveyed the highest thanks and sincerest greetings in the letter to all women medical workers who have fought bravely in the arduous work of epidemic prevention and control.
The letter said that the women medical workers aiding the novel coronavirus control efforts in Central China's Hubei Province and their peers staying at their own posts have given priority to the safety of the public, stayed true to their original aspirations, worked hard to treat patients, provided quality service, living up to the expectations of the nation and the people and guaranteeing the life and health of the public since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus.
The Party members among the women medical workers are expected to play an exemplary role and take the initiative to shoulder the arduous task of the epidemic prevention and control.
The ACWF and the CMWA pledged that they would do their utmost to provide assistance to the parents and children of all medical workers fighting against the novel coronavirus, so the medical workers could better concentrate on their work. In addition, all the medical personnel on the frontline are expected to strengthen self-protection and safeguard their own safety during the treatment of the patients infected with the novel coronavirus.
The letter concludes that the country will eventually win the battle with the firm leadership of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, the efforts by the Party committees and governments at all levels, and the support of all sectors of society.
